Dollar General in Boiling Springs Robbed

Sinkhole

A sinkhole at Charleston Place Mall in Shelby has swallowed a Chevy. The hole was reported at approximately 1:45 p.m. The mall is located at the corner of Marion and Morgan Streets. Marion Street has been closed from Mogran Street to Clyde Street.

2 Stores Robbed near Shelby NC

Two conveience stores were robbed by armed men Wednesday night. The two store were about 4 miles apart.

Bank Robbery

The Cleveland County Sheriff Deptartment is on the scene of a Bank Robbery. It is at the South Cleveland Branch of The First National Bank on South Post Road.

Firefighters fight a tire and trash fire near Deerbrook Friday afternoon.

Emergency Apparatus & Car Show

There will be Emergency Apparatus and Car show to benefit Landyn Johnson. Landyn is the 3 yearoldson of Boiling Springs Rescue Assistant Chief Kaleb Johnson. Landyn has leukemia and makes 4 trips a week to Presbyterian Hospital. Go by and see the show if you can, while you are out on Saturday.

Large Barn Fire in Casar Friday Morning

Firefighters from Casar, Polkville, Lawndale, Fallston and Waco were sent to a barn fire around 5:30 a.m. A large amount of hay was on fire. 2 cows died in the fire.
